Iran football team against L.A.Galaxy in 2008

Iran Football Federation (IFF) is waiting for the official invitation of the US Soccer Federation, for a friendly game against Los Angeles Galaxy.

Los Angeles Galaxy requested Iran national football team arrive in the United States but even the invitation to send IFF chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, said on Friday.

"We will certainly play in the Galaxy received an official invitation from the Football Association of the USA", Hassan Ghaffari added.

British international midfield player David Beckham is also a player of the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Two teams were scheduled to play in June 2008.

Iran and the United States have so far played in the World Cup 1998, in which the Persians defeated its rival 2-1 in France.
