Iran to become West Asia tennis site

Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA -- The president of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) said here on Sunday that Iran will be changed into a West Asia tennis site by end of 2009.

In an interview with IRNA, Anil Khanna added the Islamic Republic of Iran is considered as one of the most important member of the ATF.

He added Iran plays a vital role in the region.

Khanna heading a delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday (Feb 20).

During his visit, Khanna held talks with officials of the Iranian Physical Education Organization and the National Olympic Committee.
