Persepolis the most powerful soccer team in Iran won 7th premier league championship. Soccer is most popular sport in Iran and people in Tehran could start a party after their team won the premier league championship against Sepahan of Tabriz.

Saturday was the highest level of soccer game in Iran. After Persepolis from Tehran and Sepahan from the City Tabriz could reach the final game. Over 100,000 soccer fans watched the game in Azadi Stadium in Tehran.

It was a very interesting game and at the end, Persepolis was able to win with 2:1 against Sepahan. It is the second time for Persepolis picking up the trophy in Iran’s Premier League Championships called as Persian Gulf cup.
